Frank Asa Darrow miscellany, 1870-1874, 1986.

Two letters from Andrew Dickson White to Frank A. Darrow of Orwell, Bradford County, Pennsylvania. The letter dated December 19, 1870 concerns consent to Darrow's request to practice on the Cornell University chimes; the letter dated December 7, 1874 is White's affirmative reply to Darrow's readmission inquiry. Also, typescript copy of "Franklin Asa Darrow, 1849-1922, A Biographical Sketch," by John M. Parker III, 1986 and excerpts from Darrow's diary entries relating to Cornell University and Ithaca, transcribed by John M. Parker.
